I first began making these montage films in 2012 with my iPhone to better remember vacations with friends, holidays with family, etc. I figured this would be the perfect way to look back at recent life events in a fun and creative way!
Once I started editing the footage together I knew I had to add music, but I wasn’t about to add just any music! Not a chance! So, since each video was originally made to recap the year prior I decided to contact DJ EARWORM and begun using his “United State of Pop” yearly mashups! It all matched up absolutely perfect!
Not only were my friends and family enjoying the films on a daily basis via Facebook, but strangers were as well. I found this to be strange but loved that people who didn’t know my family or I were watching the montage films on repeat!
